About the Author
Mary J. Getten is a telepathic animal communicator. In her successful practice, she works on the phone with clients throughout the world to help them understand their animals better, deal with problems and address important issues. She also teaches How to Communicate with Animals, Reconnecting with Nature, and Flower Essences for Animals workshops.
A well-known naturalist who led whale-watch trips for ten years, Mary's life revolves completely around animals. For almost a decade she was a coordinator of the San Juan County Marine Mammal Stranding Network, on staff at Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and a coordinator of wildlife rescue for Islands Oil Spill Association. She also spent 3 years at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, CA.
Mary is the author of The Orca Pocket Guide, and a contributing author to Whale Tales volumes 1 and 2, and Animal Voices. She has been a guest on TV and radio shows across the country and has appeared in numerous publications.
