About the Author

Paul Kreider, author of 49 Things You Should Have Learned by the Time You Turn Fifty, first made wine in 1974 and has made wine every harvest since. From his garage-based start-up business, Kreider established his own winery, the Ross Valley Winery, in 1987, a small, quality-conscious operation that served the community in San Anselmo in Marin County, California, until 2010. Kreider is currently a wine-making consultant in the new wine frontier, northwest Washington, and has spent hundreds of hours educating individuals and groups about wine.
