Northwest Bestsellers - wk ending Sept. 21, 2008

Christopher Paolini's Brisingr became a big hit the moment it came out last Saturday. A half-million copies sold in one day. Brisingr, if you didn't know, is the third volume in a series which started with Eragon. Brisingr is now at the top of the Northwest Chiildren's list. Other books on the Northwest Bestsellers list this week: The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. The narrator is a dog. You gotta read it! Hardcover and priced under $17. And, Sherman Alexie's The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian is also on the list.
