The Spirit of the Oregon Coast

The Spirit of the Oregon CoastThe Spirit of the Oregon Coast
by Suzanne & Bruce Watkins

The Spirit of the Oregon Coast is a fresh new look at one of North America's great natural coastal sanctuaries. The book is packed with more than 280 full-colored photographs along with lively text and quotations emphasizing Coast Bays, Coast Character, Coast Foods, Coast Lighthouses along with Sea Stacks, Surf and Tide Pools. Eight pages are dedicated to the Coast Guard with recollections from two retired "Coasties" who served at Port Orford. This photostory book is heavy on photos and light on text. It sparks the spirit of place in an energetic but whimsical way. Visit the publisher's Web site.
